A warlord and one of Xena's former lovers, Draco is terrorizing Amphipolis when Xena returns and defeats him in hand-to-hand combat, thereby reconciling herself with her mother and the townspeople. During a raid on a Hestian temple, Draco is struck by Cupid's arrow and falls madly in love with Gabrielle; although Cupid lifts the love spell off of the other people involved, Xena convinces him to keep Draco enthralled.
